Romeo and Bentley are pugs owned by twin sisters, Jacqui and Kerry Donneli. A friend commissioned these 4" x 6" paintings for their 40th Birthday to capture their treasured but aging pets.
The source photos were sneakily copied from the twins myspace pages without their awareness. Because of this the quality wasn't great but lent itself to a loose, fun, painterly style with subtle color inflections of blues, pinks and purples into the fur color.
The personality is all there though and needless to say the twins LOVED them!

I love, love , love these pictures of my Pugs! The pictures look just like them. I will treasure them forever.
Georgia is so talented. These are my pugs and Georgia painted them exactly as they look. She has a certain magic in her paintings. I absolutely love them!
