Ollie's textured fur made this a really fun protrait to paint. Layers and layers of colored strokes create that classic wire-fur look and his wonderfully frank and expressive look gave this "Headshot" tons of personality.
The fun skull and crossbone collar tag was added from another source photo. The lovely wash background created with shades of greens, blues, purple and peach elements gave him a swirling halo of light. The details of his eyes were obliterated by camera "red eye" but I was able to correct that, no problems. SUPER CUTE!
